Rabindranath Tagore (1861β1941) was remembered as a literary master, philosopher, and a polymath in various artistic fields. He dedicated his entire life to bridging the cultural gap between the East and the West, becoming the first Asian to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his profound collection "Gitanjali".
